"The Manufacturing of Sorrow" - Again.
The story, one of my favorites, was recently republished ( for the fourth time, I believe ) at:

It was originally drafted in the months after my daughter died.
A most difficult time, when my entire family was overwhelmed by grief.
And I was trying to record some part of what was in the air we were breathing.
After reading the story over, I can remember wondering, ah, now what is this that I've stumbled upon.
I'm proud to say its earned a couple of prizes, and a Pushcart nomination, and touched a few hearts.
